UnitedHealth: The doctor will see you now ? via video

UnitedHealthcare is broadening a program that provides coverage for physician visits that are conducted via video. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports the insurance company formed new partnerships with telemedicine companies NowClinic, Doctor on Demand and American Well. UnitedHealth customers will be able to get coverage for a portion of a telemedicine visit, which typically costs a total of about $50, as opposed to $80 for an in-person visit.

A major shareholder of Dell Inc. that voted in favor of the $24.9 billion buyout in late 2013 is now seeking appraisal of its share value, USA Today reports. T. Rowe Price Group Inc. (Nasdaq: TROW), which was once Dell?s third-largest shareholder, is opposing the Dell deal in Delaware court despite voting ?for? the leveraged buyout 18 months ago. Drivers are paying highest gas prices of the year, AAA says

Drivers are paying more at the pump than they have all year. The national average price for regular gas rose to $2.62, up 59 cents compared to this year's low of $2.03 recorded in late January, according to data from AAA. The rising cost of crude oil is to blame, said AAA spokesman Josh Carrasco. "Although prices are at their highest level of the year, they are still more than a dollar cheaper than this time last year," he said in a news release.
